It represents one of the first examples of Islamic urbanism as well as a model developed in later periods and with special significance in al-Andalus, in cases like Madinat al-Zahra and the Alhambra. The audiovisual has been produced by the Laboratory of Archaeology and Architecture of the City (LAAC) of the School of Arabic Studies of Granada, belonging to the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), in collaboration with the El Legado Andalusí Foundation.
