International Conference «Remembering al-Andalus and the Maghrib in the Mashriq»

Los días 23 y 24 de noviembre de 2023 se celebrará el congreso internacional «Remembering al-Andalus and the Maghrib in the Mashriq», en el marco del proyecto de investigación Al Andalus and the Maghrib in the Islamic East: mobility, migration and memory, AMOI II (ref. PID2020-116680GB-I00), dirigido por Maribel Fierro y Mayte Penelas, y financiado por MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033. Tras el call for papers lanzado en marzo de 2023, el congreso reunirá a una veintena de especialistas en la materia en la Escuela de Estudios Árabes (CSIC). La organización del congreso corre a cargo de Mayte Penelas, mientras que Víctor M. Ropero Ayllón se ocupa de la secretaría del mismo.

[ENG] On 23 and 24 November 2023 the International Conference “Remembering al-Andalus and the Maghrib in the Mashriq” will be held at the School of Arabic Studies (EEA, CSIC) in the framework of the research project Al Andalus and the Maghrib in the Islamic East: mobility, migration and memory, AMOI II (ref. PID2020-116680GB-I00), funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and directed by Mayte Penelas and Maribel Fierro. After the call for papers launched in March 2023, the Conference will bring together over twenty specialists in the theme. The Conference has been organized by Mayte Penelas, and Víctor M. Ropero Ayllón is in charge of the Conference secretariat.
