Congreso internacional “EL ESPACIO DOMÉSTICO EN LA PENÍNSULA IBÉRICA MEDIEVAL: SOCIEDAD, FAMILIA, ARQUITECTURA, AJUAR”

Organizado por Departamento de Historia del Arte de la Universidad de Granada y el Laboratorio de Arqueología y Arquitectura de la Ciudad (LAAC) de la Escuela de Estudios Árabes de Granada (EEA- CSIC), estará integrado por especialistas que se reunirán durante tres días con el objetivo de reflexionar, debatir e intercambiar información, así como definir nuevas estrategias de investigación sobre el espacio doméstico medieval, entendido tanto como construcción física (su arquitectura) como social (el grupo que lo construye y habita).

Aparte de las conferencias impartidas por los investigadores invitados tendrá lugar una convocatoria pública para la presentación de pósteres.

International conference “DOMESTIC SPACE IN THE MEDIEVAL IBERIAN PENINSULA: SOCIETY, FAMILY, ARCHITECTURE, HOUSEHOLD FURNISHINGS”

Organized by the Department of Art History of the University of Granada and the Laboratory for the Archaeology and Architecture of the City (Escuela de Estudios Árabes de Granada, EEA- CSIC), this conference will be attended by specialists who will meet for three days with the specific goals of carrying out reflections and debates, exchanging information, and defining new research about medieval domestic space, understood both as a physical construction (its architecture) and a social construct (the group that builds and inhabits it).

In addition to the presentations delivered by guest specialists, a public call for proposals is also open.
