EEA participates in ENIS Spring School 2023 “Shifting Boundaries in Muslim Worlds”

The EEA (Escuela de Estudios Árabes) and other two CSIC institutes – Institución Milá i Fontanals (IMF) and Instituto de Lenguas y Culturas del Mediterráneo (ILC-CCHS) – participate, as members of ENIS (European Network for Islamic Studies), in the organization of ENIS Spring School 2023 “Shifting Boundaries in Muslim Worlds”.

The organization of the 2023 ENIS Spring School is a joint effort by the Università degli Studi di Catania and the European Network for Islamic Studies (ENIS). The theme of this year’s Spring School is “Shifting Boundaries in Muslim Worlds” and is convened by the Università degli Studi di Catania (Sicily, Italy), the Institut d’études de l’Islam et des sociétés du monde musulman (IISMM, France), the Center for Near and Middle Eastern Studies (CNMS, University of Marburg, Germany), the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC, Spain) and the Netherlands Interuniversity School for Islamic Studies (NISIS, the Netherlands).

The Spring School will take place from 13 to 16 June 2023 at the Università degli Studi di Catania, with five keynote lectures and around thirty presentations by PhD candidates.
